The school has taken transfer of a tract of land in the centre of Hout Bay. This will be the site of the new purpose built campus.
The Site Development Plan for our new campus has been approved. This means that the municipality have approved all the preliminary work for the school’s planned new campus on the Kronendal land: the environmental management plan, civil engineering, traffic, geotechnical, drainage, landscaping plans, to name but a few of the planning requirements. This means that all the complex land zoning and heritage requirements that are particular to this site have been addressed and resolved. A team of consultants have put in a great deal of work in order to prepare this for submission, and it is the fruits of many hours and days of labour. It has been many years since the school purchased the land and started the process of consolidating the various portions of the site, securing the community and municipality’s support for the rezoning of the land to that of an educational nature and addressing the concerns of all the stakeholders in the Hout Bay community.
