Admissions High School
The High School admits students from Year 7, which we call M1 to the matriculation examination, the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Students in M1 are usually 11 turning 12 during that year. The IB Diploma is a two year course, and, so, students must enrol for the entire course, with IGCSE's, South African Grade 10 or equivalent the entry requirement. Students who are currently enrolled for the IB Diploma may transfer from another IB World School.
Places for admission are determined by an interview, previous school reports, and an entrance assessment which consists of two parts, literacy (English), and numeracy (Mathematics).
Mr. Grant Ruskovich is our Director of Admissions for the High School. He can be contacted on email at 'contact.houtbay@iesedu.com'. Our school secretary, Mrs. Di Dunbar is also able to answer most admissions related queries.
