Admissions Primary School
The Primary School requires children to be the minimum age of 3 years 6 months in the January they begin in Early Years 1. The age admission generally runs June to June to help facilitate children moving from the Northern to Southern Hemisphere school calendars.
Places for admission are determined by an interview, previous school reports, and an entrance assessment which gauges the child’s development in their learning. These activities include aspects of Literacy and Numeracy, confidence and independence, as is age appropriate. Children are placed in their age appropriate groups, with support and extension through differentiated programmes as appropriate.
