Sport

At the International School of Hout Bay we believe that physical activity plays a vital role in the development of the whole child.  This includes, where possible competitive sports.  Although we are sometimes limited in our choice of team sports due to our student numbers, we aspire to provide a programme that allows for both skills development and progression and a variety of choice.

The school year is divided up into Summer Terms 1 and 4, and winter terms 2 and 3.  The Summer sports programme includes Tennis, Swimming and Cross-county running.  The Winter sports programme includes Soccer, Netball and Rugby.  Volleyball and squash are also played at times throughout the year.
